System Batch Jobs

Overview

The following table summarizes the functions of the batch processes with the SYS namespace. Those requiriing addtional explanation are linked to detailed articles. 

Job Name	Description
autoDisapproveJob	Normally run at year end to disapprove specific enroute documents.
bulkReindexDocsJob	Reindexes documents when searchable attributes have changed. It's the same as clicking Index Searchable Attributes on the Document Queue Operation page. Specify the document type(s) to requeue in parameter KFS-SYS BulkReindexDocsStep DOCUMENT_TYPES
clearCacheJob	Clears KIM caches.
dailyEmailJob	Sends Action List notifications to users who Action List preference is set to daily.
fiscalYearMakerJob	Creates next years tables for those maintenance documents that are associated with fiscal years.
hrLoadJob	Updates Person records based on a file created from the institutions HR system.
modulesLockJob modulesUnlockJob	Update values in the MODULE_LOCKED_IND parameters for all modules at one time to lock (Y) and unlock (N) modules from processing.
purgeJob	Purges pending attachments, old lookup results, temp files and session documents.
purgeReportsandStagingJob	Purges the reports and staging directories accessible from the Batch File lookup that are older than the number of days specified in parameter DEFAULT_NUMBER_OF_DAYS.
scheduleJob	This job kicks off the KFS batch schedule. When the job runs longer than the time specified in the CUTOFF_TIME parameter an email will be sent to the email in DEFAULT_TO_EMAIL_ADDRESS, notifying the recipients that the schedule did not complete as expected.
weeklyEmailJob	Sends Action List notifications to users who Action List preference is set to weekly.
