Overview
The Project Code document is used to define an optional part of the accounting string that identifies specific transactions that are designated for a project that is not represented by an account. Since a Project Code is not assigned to an account, it can be used to track project activity across multiple accounts within an organization (or multiple organizations) and will group all revenues and expenditures for reporting purposes.
Project Code
Most fields on the Project Code are self explanatory and are primarily used for reporting. The Organization Code can be used to drive Organization Review routing when new project codes are created or existing ones are edited.
