We changed how Person data is stored and accessed in Financials. Previously, the system used a complex process to gather Person details. Now, Person data is stored in Financials database tables. This simplifies processing and improves performance.
Person was originally designed to support a variety of systems. Now that this logic is only used by Financials, we simplified the data to only what is used by Financials. Person now only supports one affiliation, one address, one contact and one phone number instead of a collection of these objects.
There is also a new batch job to assist with loading Person data into the database. For details, see hrLoadJob.
For technical details, see Technical Guide to Person Changes.
