Asset Object Code

Overview

The Asset Object Code table defines object codes used for asset capitalization and depreciation.

For each object code sub-type associated with a capital asset payment object code, this table defines the object codes: 

• where the capital asset will be capitalized by the scrubberJob
• where depreciation expense and accumulated depreciation will be recorded by the assetDepreciationJob

The Asset Retirement Global and Asset Transfer documents use this table when generating general ledger pending entries. This table is updated annually by the Fiscal Year Maker process.
